In a PCB interview, Waqar Younis expressed confidence in the players and said, "I have spent 35 years in cricket, give these boys time because it is too much for them to be out on one or two test matches." Yes, the young pacers could not bowl as expected but are sub-teens, it is not easy to maintain line and length and control in Australian conditions; it should not be concluded that these pacers do not have the ability, they have the money.
