Bangladesh has no right to deny consent to OTT series:
KARACHI (Bangladeshi Cricket Board refuses to play Test series in Pakistan and has agreed to play T20 matches. The country has sent a letter containing the words to the Cricket Board asking them not to play Test matches in Pakistan, as the PCB is not interested in playing their home series abroad, so it is acceptable for the Bangladesh Board to refuse to come to Pakistan. The reason must be stated.
According to Wasim Khan, the BCB has informed him that he can come to Pakistan for T20 matches but he has no intention of playing Test matches in Pakistan at present.
Waseem Khan says the Sri Lankan team is currently visiting Pakistan and the ICC has also sent its officials to Pakistan for the series so Bangladesh has no reason to refuse to play Test matches in Pakistan. The ICC has also accepted the tour's security plan, but talks with the BCB will continue.
On the other hand, South Africa has agreed to play three T20 matches in Pakistan on the way to India and in this regard the officials of both cricket boards have reached close to finalizing all matters in the next few days.
